Front End Development
Students learn planning, research, and production methods specific to the discipline of usability testing and interaction design. Students will receive exposure to relevant interaction design trends through user testing methods as a means to analyze how technology can be used to solve complex problems. Students will analyze current trends and uses of apps and mobile websites, and, in so doing, will learn to consider how these might be used to solve complex, human problems.
In this course, students gain an understanding of the differences in interaction design (IxD), user-interface design (UI), user-experience design (UX), and information architecture. Students learn the methods, skills, and knowledge necessary to design and test how people interact with a design. They gather factors and iteratively improve upon a design to ensure the designed final deliverable meets the need of the intended audience.
The work presented on this page is a result of students’ hard work from multiple semesters.
